Brain Matter
I don’t understand how you can resent something you’re so thankful for? For example, I’m really so so thankful that I have a job. I never want to go back to those 8 months of nothingness. But when I think about my jobs, minus the days I work in the pharmacy.. I feel so whatever about it… I almost dread it… and I’m barely hitting my 3 month mark working. In...
Ate Rhea?
Now that I work more closely with the youth in Temecula, most if not all of them call me Ate Rhea which is weird. But it also makes sense since I’m 9 years older than some of them. But as I was driving home from their household today it made me wonder, what kind of “Ate” am I? Am I like an Ate Grace that’s super motherly and considers everyone as her “baby”? Am...

Hey Immune System,
Its me, the reason for your existence. I don’t know how to say this but, you’ve been really slackin’ it lately. I kinda sorta think I’m sick again which makes this the third time this year. And well, I’d appreciate it if you’d start… you know, actually fighting those antigens. I think you’re trying? But yeah, lets kick it up like its game 7 of an...

ON POINT.
Women are always tempted to be initiators. We like to get things done. We want to talk about situations and feelings, get it all out in the open, deal with it. It appears to us that men often ignore and evade issues, sweep things under the rug, forget about them, get on with projects, business, pleasures, sports, eat a big steak, turn on the television, roll over, and go to sleep. Women...
La la la la
My sister and I have been getting along really well lately. I think we figured out how to live well with each other and how we can be helpful to one another around the house. Took a couple months, but it feels much better to have her as my older sister vs. second mom.
If only I could work on being more helpful around the house with chores. Ever since I started working I can’t seem to...
Today at work (3/31 -4/5)
Asked a customer if he needed any help, he proceeded to ask for my number. I do not provide that kind of customer service.
A lady scratched her deflated-saggy-wrinkly-post-pregnancy belly in front of me. ew.
Convinced 3 people to buy the Hunger Games books that we sell. You’re welcome Suzanne Collins.
I wish I had more hours in the pharmacy.
I hope I don’t end up old, angry,...

to be whole in You…
rain, rain go away
I think there’s power in knowing how the evil one tries to deceive you. I was reminded tonight that when you’re complacent, vulnerable, struggling, and even when you’re closest to God… you are always at risk of deception. But once you figure out how the devil tries to push your buttons, or what instances in your life he uses to make you crumble or stray from God, his power...
Today at Work (3/19/12)
Today at work I noticed a fairly elderly customer’s gold chain necklace that carries a gold ring. I kept her company while she was waiting for her neighbor to bring her a set of spare car keys (she had accidentally locked her keys in her car). During our brief conversation I found out that she had recently lost her husband… I then realized that the wide-set gold ring was her...

Keep on Keepin' on
When obstacles get in the way of something you want it humbles and challenges you. It presents itself as a checkpoint that asks “how bad do you want it?” and “is your desire enough to conquer the challenge?” (no matter how many attempts it may take)
Because like all the quotes I read from people that inspire me, you’ll stop at nothing, you’ll face anything, and...

Good Intentions
So there was a homeless man sitting outside of stater brothers on a bench, in the cold, with one crutch… just sitting.. may be waiting. I passed by him 3 times and couldn’t help but feel concern because it was really cold outside and he looked sad. When I got to my car I was debating whether or not I should give him money. At first I thought, “I’ll just pray for him and...
Substance
I wish people wrote more… or in this case “blogged” more. Way back in the xanga days people always blogged about their day or what happened over the weekend and it was cool because you got a little update on their life. In the tumblr world however, its more about reblogging things that you like, things that communicate how you feel, and mostly (for me anyway) things that make you...

Today at Work... (3/1/12)
A lot of the customers that come into Rite Aid are elderly because Sun City, Menifee’s neighbor, is a hot spot for senior citizens. So today an elderly man approached the cashier stand and was accompanied by the strong aroma of urine, the kind similar to the streets in LA that are populated with homeless homies. It then made sense that he was purchasing his Depends (adult diapers) for that...
